I love my Turkish lamp. I feel like it is a real handmade item. If you really take the time to appreciate the handicraft of placing all the tiles and beads with glue, by hand, on a curved glass surface, I think you will appreciate the end result that much more! I got the "Flame" style, and it does look like a beautiful multicolor Christmas ornament when illuminated. The cord has an on / off switch that is very convenient to reach over and click when I want to put the lamp on. It does take a standard E12 bulb and the bulb is not included, so be ready for that, and don't fault the item since you've been fore-warned about needing to buy a bulb. It's better to buy your own bulb anyway, because you can get a daylight 6000k+ white if you want the lamp to be as bright as possible, or you can get a really low candle light number like 2700k for a night light or mood light atmosphere in your room. I happen to love red light, so I am buying a red E12 bulb to crank up the red mood lighting in my bedroom! This hand made Turkish style lamp is gorgeous, and a good value in my opinion, and I would recommend it!
Think these are mass produced the bought and resold under different names. I later found the same light, with a different seller name for less elsewhere. Nice light and colors though. Just shop around for a good price.
I'm reviewing Selenly Mosaic Turkish Lamp, Moroccan Lamps for Table & Bedside. Item arrived as described. I felt like it could use a heavier bubble wrap considering the glass, but it arrived intact. Only a few beads came off. No nicks or scratches. Strong clamps to hold the glass in place. Used E12 light bulb, preferably the small nightlight size. Beautiful glow. Frosted bulb gives a warmer glow and clear bulbs give a brighter glow.
Gorgeous when lit. Uses a nightlight bulb so it's just for ambiance or a night light. Looks vintage and handmade
This lamp is super fun. The switch is on the power cable. It didn't come with a light bulb, and several of the beads had come off in the packaging. I don't know what the exact lightbulb size it needed was, but it's not a regular size, it's like an outdoor-string-light size that thankfully I had a spare of.
