If you have never used a Turkish cotton towel before, it's a game changer. These pack super small and light, and dry amazingly quickly. They do hold smells and I'm not 100% sure how they will do after multiple washes. I usually wash them by hand and air dry. That makes them good as new and smell fresh.
At first, it was a little stiff (but absolutely gorgeous!) but after I washed it, it was so nice. It certainly reminds me of the linens we were given when I spent time in the Mediterranean. Honestly, I can't tell the difference.Lightweight, absorbent, and absolutely beautiful!!
The fabric quality is exceptional, and what's even better is that it doesn't trap sand, making for a hassle-free beach experience. It's incredibly easy to wash and maintain. Moreover, the size is generous enough for two, and possibly even three people to comfortably sit on. This towel has quickly become an essential part of my beach outings, and I couldn't be happier with its quality, size, and sand-free feature. Highly recommended for a relaxing and enjoyable beach day!
Got this more to use as an easy travel blanket to throw in a tote bag. Because it’s a thinner material it can be rolled up small and not add an excessive amount of extra weight. Used it in the park and it was exactly what i needed. I can’t speak to how absorbing and drying it is though since i don’t intend to use it like a real towel.
At first I wasn't that happy with the towel. I would dry and would still be a little damp. I realized that you have to keep using different parts of the towel because it becomes saturated quickly. Once I realized that it worked great. Parts of the towel would be dry before I even finished. It's definitely lighter and will back up smaller than any beach towel or normal towel for that matter.
