When I first received this item I was confused. It's big like a bath towel - but it's thin like a dish towel. This is a different type of fabric that I'm just not accustomed to. I did give it a try, and found that it is way more absorbent then I anticipated. It's also very stylish, mine is the teal color which is beautiful. This item is reasonably priced as well. It is definitely more than meets the eye.
I am using this as a lightweight lap blanket. It is a good size for it, doesn’t wrinkle much and washes well without fading.
This Turkish cotton towel is thin and lightweight, yet still absorbent. It has a soft woven texture and folds up compactly to put in a beach bag, and can double as a swimsuit cover or blanket on the sand.In my opinion, it's not as well suited for use after a bath or shower, as its thinness means it isn't as warm as I prefer in that context. But for outdoor use at the pool or beach, this is fantastic.Definitely wash before first use... I tried it without washing first and had lots of teal lint fluffs stick to my skin. I washed it and tried again and the problem was solved. My fault, not a product flaw, but just don't make the same mistake I did!
This towel is wonderfully lightweight and can roll up quite small.My wife loves to take Turkish towels when going on vacation as they don't take up much room and are so versatile. They can function as a towel, picnic blanket, shawl, cover for legs in the sun or when it gets cooler in the evenings.This one comes attractively wrapped and would also make a nice gift.
This is probably the softest towel that has ever touched my skin….and I’m not saying that as a person with limited or normal experience with towels. My parents owned a bed & bath shop when I was a kid. We had the absolute best of the best when it came to our towels and bedding at home. I worked in the shop and handled everything we had. This IS the softest towel I’ve ever used and feels the absolute best on my skin of any towel ever. The only minor issue is that my bathroom is already painted very close to this color, and purple would work better. I desperately want these to become available in purple. If they did, I would replace EVERY towel in my house with them and demote all existing towels for use with the dogs or cleaning up messes/spills.
