I bought this towel to use at the beach and while I haven't had a chance to bring it there yet, I have tested it to see how absorbent it is. It does quickly absorb moisture and I believe that in the sun, it would dry very fast. I've run it through the wash as well and while it isn't that soft (actually kind of rough), it didn't unravel at all (wash delicate on cold water, tumble dry very low heat). The towel itself is thin and if stretched out, you can see fine gaps in the material. I can see how sand could shake out of this really easily on the beach. Plus, it's super light weight and has cute tassels. 4 stars only because of softness, otherwise I think it's a great towel.
Soft, lightweight, and a lovely color! I’d call it aqua rather than mint, though, and it’s definitely not as pale as in the product photos. Surprisingly more absorbent than a terry cloth towel. Dries quickly even hung up indoors. The wrinkles didn’t all come out after machine-washing it then hanging it to dry, but they weren’t horrible. Nice plastic-free packaging with actual care instructions on the tag (a thing that’s lacking in a lot of products I’ve seen lately). Definitely packs up a lot smaller than a normal towel, although the size is about what I expect for a single-person beach towel. It also makes a nice lightweight blanket or oversized shawl.
This would make a nice gift and comes packaged well in clear plastic tube. I like the light weight fabric and the color is soft and pretty. I use these towels for many purposes and I always have one in the car or laying near the couch to avoid messes when eating. The towel is absorbent and takes very little space in storage.
I love Turkish towels. I Super-Love this one. At this time, this is the softest full sized Turkish towel I’ve ever touched. I don’t know what else to say, it’s wonderful. As soft as the very soft baby blankets. It has washed well and retained the softness through washing. My new favorite.
This is a good-sized Turkish cotton towel. It absorbs water very well, despite how thin it is. This is not a terry cloth cotton towel, so don't order it expecting some traditional thick plush bath towel. Rather, it is Turkish cotton, which is much lighter and thinner. It works great post shower. It is also a great beach towel, due to its light packable weight, its absorbency and its size. Sand shakes off of the thin cotton easily. The towel dries quickly. The green color is a beautiful mint green, with white stripes and tassels.
