Selenly Turkish Towel | 100% Cotton - Petrol

This is the first towel of this type that we have used since we normally buy traditional thicker bath towels. With that said, after testing it out, this towel is just about as absorbent but without all the bulk of a normal towel. Our family's likely use case will be getting more of these to take to the pool during the summer. Since it is lightweight and rolls/folds up very easily, our pool bag will no longer be bursting at the seams with 5+ towels.

I've been intrigued by Turkish towels since I saw an advertisement for one a while back. I've typically been the type to buy super fluffy high-end bath towels, but the drying time and space they take to store are definitely issues.This towel, while not as soft and fluffy as my regular towels did the job - it dried me off and it easily wrapped around my body. It also stayed tucked, so I didn't feel like I had to constantly be grabbing for it to keep it from falling down. It dried very fast and it folds up into about 1/3-1/2 the space of my traditional towels. It washed well. It's earned a place as my "to-go" towel when drying time or space are crtical.

My wife wanted to try a Turkish towel out after hearing so much. We got it and I was underwhelmed by the thickness and size. However, after trying it, I'm impressed. You'd not think you'd get the same towel characteristics from such a thin item, but you do. What's even better is how small you can get it, which makes it ideal for travel, car, etc. Recommended.

The towel arrived quickly with nice simple packaging (gift worthy). I washed it before the first use for best performance. I thought this oversize towel would be perfect for trips to the hot tub, but was somewhat disappointed with the absorbency. It wasn't bad, but it was not what I expected after reading all the rave reviews. I felt slightly damp after using it. I still find my store brand 100% cotton twisted loop towels to be more absorbent.The other thing I found disappointing was the gentle Cycle/low heat or hang dry care instructions. For towels I'm using every day, I don't want to have to have separate laundry care for them (don't have other delicates).The reason I still gave it four stars was that it is a very soft, attractive towel. I use it on my sofa to protect the upholstery from my dogs sometimes dirty paws.

This is the cutest turkish towel.  It is really soft and has a cute pattern.  Its the perfect size to throw in the gym bag or your beach bag, or keep in the car for times you need a small blanket or towel.  Its super functional but also cute enough to have in your guest bathroom or give as a gift.  I'm loading up on these for Christmas gifts!!
