Selenly Turkish Towel | 100% Cotton - Coral Red

This towel is indeed soft even before use and nicely absorbent. It washes great and dries very fast. And seems to getting softer with use. I love how lightweight it is and packs/travels brilliantly. We got the Coral Red and it is a pretty towel, love the earthy tones. This is a great looking towel that seems to be getting better with use! Nice product and I am sure we will be adding more.

Lovely towel! Fantastic product! Beautiful colors, beautiful design and so so so soft!I have never used a Turkish towel before,  this has quickly become my favorite towel. I have never felt a towel so soft. I cannot tell if it is the cotton or the way it is woven but this has a softness I have never felt in a towel before. It is so luxurious on my skin!It is very thin, which I believe is how it is designed. It has taken some time to get used to the thinness but I absolutely love the way it feels on my skin and that absolutely outweighs the thinness. It absorbs water like I have never seen. Normal towels will have wet spots on them after you shower and feel heavy but these do not. I have long hair and even when I wrap my hair it doesn't have that heavy feel to it. It is a very large towel so it wraps nicely around your body with plenty of extra towel.When I travel I also tend to like to bring my own towels, as I like bath sheets and they are normally larger then most hotels have. This will be a great towel to travel with as it will take up significantly less room in my bag then a normal towel will take.This towel is beautifully presented. I would absolutely give this as a gift and it would be lovely in a gift basket. Because of the elegant and simple presentation, you would be able to add it to a basket just as it is when it arrives. I cannot say enough about how much l love this towel.As I replace the towels in my home I will certainly be adding more of these Turkish towels to my collection.

I use this towel for my workouts.  I lay on it to stretch after doing an aerobic workout.  It keeps me dry and is soft to the touch.  It washes well too.  I am pleased with the color-red and am glad I have this.

I like the light weight of this large 100% Turkish cotton towel.  It folds up into a tight roll and takes up little room in one’s beach bag compared to fluffier towels.  The texture is similar to a dish towel and we know that dish towels are made to be highly absorbent.  Because they are not fluffy like terrycloth, they dry fairly quickly.  They are machine washable and dryer friendly also.  Their large size and universal woven design makes them suitable for either men or women.  It is large enough to be used also as a light coverlet for naps, or a shawl or lap blanket for cooIer weather, for example.  I see that they are also available in many varied colors.The vendor’s claim is that sand will not stick to the wet towels.  Heavier towels are “sand magnets” and a lot of it comes home with the towel.  These are so light, you can shake most of the wet sand off...a good feature if it works.  I tried it, and here is what I found…the sand does not shake off much if the fabric beneath it is very wet, but after it dries a little more, it will indeed shake off, almost entirely.  The only problem I can foresee is snagging the light knit fibers which happens occasionally.  As for price, I have never paid more than ten dollars for my largest, thickest beach towel, so is this towel worth more?  I would say you have to consider what features you most appreciate in your cover-up towel and decide.  I think many would enjoy the conveniences of this type of towel.

The material is soft and seems comfortable, and the towel is plenty large, but it's really thin, and even with quality cotton, I'm not sure it would absorb enough water to be a really good beach towel. For lying on the beach, maybe, but if you need to dry off, I have my doubts, especially for $17.99. Nothing wrong with it - it seems well made - but I would have appreciated a little more absorbing thickness.
